I'm glad I stumbled upon this forum, especially this thread. I'm new to straight razor shaving so I'm definitely in.

Update: got my hunting trip scheduled for valentines weekend, so all of March is open for me, have we decided on a date yet?

Well I read someone else did something of the sort and I thought it was a great idea for a meet. So I bought a couple of Gold dollar razors to bring for people to pratice bevel sets, and even sharpening. Not sure how sharp we will be able to get them or how well they will hold an edge. I am going to give them a once over when I get them in to see.
If the razors get ruined it is no harm, they are tools for learning.

We...uh...well....um.....don't do GD's. We could play William Tell with them, though!

Plenty old blades around here! No worries!

Well! If it ain't old William Tell Himself!

Man, we got a winner in the 16th of March! Looking forward to seeing you all!

Incidentally, the 16th is a full moon and the 17th is St Patrick's Day!
Wearin' of the green, will be the theme!
