It's looking more and more likely that I'm showing my mug...
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Let me know if this is lame or something in which there is any interest. If it's lame or too much like High School, forget I ever brought it up.

As an icebreaker for Sunday's meeting we can take a quick poll of attendees - just to get a feel for what the sampling of colleagues in attendance have in their shaving equipment stashes, length of time shaving with a STR8, or unique experience or expertise. Here are some questions to get things started. If anyone wants to add to the list, great.

•How long have you been shaving with a STR8?
    •less than 3 months
•longer than 3 months but less than one year
    •1-5 years
    •more than 5 years

•How many STR8s do you own?
    •one
    •2-5
    •6-10
    •11-50
    •51-100
•I lost count a while back

•Of these, what percentage of them you shave with regularly?
    •less than 10%
    •11-50%
    •most or all of them

•How many shaving brushes do you own?
    •one
    •2-5
    •6-10
    •11-50
    •51-100
•I lost count a while back

•How many strops do you own?
    •one
    •2-5
    •6-10
    •more than 10

•Do you hone your own razors?
    •yes
    •no
    •what's honing?

•How many hones do you own?
    •one
    •2-5
    •6-10
    •more than 10

    •Do you strop after shaving?
    •yes
    •no

•Do you oil your razors after shaving?
    •yes
    •no

Anyway, let me know what you guys think.
