I'm almost positive I will be there. I'm trying to get my friend to come too. Thanks for hosting this Andrew. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

St. Louis is my home town. My mom and sisters still live there. I currently live in Atlanta. Last years meet in Atlanta was a real good time and time well spent for me. I just discussed with SWMBO, and she is encouraging me to go. Just need to arrange time off from work. Right now planning to attend. Anyone from Atlanta want to ride share? Plan on driving Friday, and returning Monday. Sunday would also be an option. Looking forward to the meet up if everything works out.

Thanked: 105I will be there.
Lynn might be stretchin the truth a little, but I bet I could find a few hundred if I clean off the work bench.

Starting to get pretty excited about this meet! Anybody be interested in doing some scale-making? I've got pretty much a full woodshop. Can re-saw up to maybe 6 inches on the bandsaw I think. Got a tablesaw (terrifying 1950's with no integrated safety measures whatsoever), bandsaw, lathe, router table, 4x36 belt sander, 1" beltsander, thickness planer, the standards I guess. I haven't done any scales in probably a year because of house-reno stuff but I was thinking about setting up a couple sets of scales at various stages of my creation process if anybody is interested in scale making. Or we may end up honing and BS-ing the entire time! Should be a great time though and look forward to seeing people again, and meeting new ones.

Thanked: 4942I can bring some wood or acrylic or g-10 for some scales if you guys want. Time will end up being the big thing, but it would be fun to make a couple sets if we can.
See you there.

Valentine Plans will not be interfering. I can't wait to meet some fellow shavers. Might be able to con my friend I gave the duck to attend also.
And I will be bringing the Mappin because I am having some difficulty getting an even bevel.Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

ARGH! I would love to come, but won't be able to make it from Memphis, which wouldn't be a terrible drive. Mom's coming to visit my pregnant wife and me that weekend.
