Thanked: 1081Rest in peace Pixel.
I was actually thinking of Bill last night as I haven't seen him post in a while and wouldn't it be nice to have an ivory brush turned by him.
Ive never met anyone from this forum but I know there's a few people I would love to have a beer with. Bill was one of them.

How very sad, my thoughts are with his family. SRP and the community as a whole will be less without his knowledge and expertise. RIP Bill.

Thanked: 2284Even though I had never met the man, he really was my inspiration for making brushes. His work was gorgeous and second to none. When I started I could only hope my work could be as good as his. In a way, he really was my Mentor, he taught me a lot of things about turning in general, as well as turning brush handles specifically.
I wish I could thank him for everything he taught me. He will be missed... RIP Pixelfixed.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Terribly sad news.
Thank you for all you did for this community Bill. You were a true craftsman, generous with your time, skills, and knowledge, and as has already been said, and inspiration to many of us.
Rest in peace Pixel.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 4206A sad day in the wet shave community. Bill was an inspiration, a mentor, and an online friend I too will miss. His wit, skills, and experiences shared enriched many of our lives, and hobbies.
God bless, and rest in peace Bill.

Sad day in the lives of all that were touched by Bill. His razor sharp comments, his true expertise, were truly a joy to myself as to others.
A had many conversations with Bill, and as a new guy he stepped up and gave me a hand that I will never forget.
When he hadn't posted for a bit I thought, aww Bill got put in the corner again! Cause Bill spoke his mind. Then. Was worried cause the last time we talked he was ill.
So now we miss you, and my heart goes out to his family and friends for they knew Bill like we will never, a truly sad day and my shave of the day tomorrow will be in Bills memory.
Pixelfixed. RIP
