Thanked: 25Naniwa diamond stones: 6k and 8k ($200)
Naniwa Diamond stones, 6k and 8k. $200
I don't think these are really for razors. I tried various mediums, but the edge tends to get nicked. However, under running water the edge did not nick.
I also have not tried these with extra hard steel.
I have used the 6K with kitchen knives, and that's rather fun.
The 8K doesn't seem to be available anymore, at least with a simple google search.

Thanked: 0Do you think these would be better for larger oversized razors? I was literally just reading up on these stones and wondered if anyone has tried them. I would love to give them a try, my smallest razor is 10/8 right now and my largest razor is 14/8 so perhaps these stones would do better because of the size? If you're willing to move them a little cheaper Ill gladly take them off your hands or you can PM me and perhaps we could set something up where I send you one of my oversized razors and you check to see if they are better with them?
