I've tested it as a slurry stone on a Chosera 600 which is roughly the same grit, and can't tell it improves anything much. I did this mostly out of curiosity knowing the "brown biscuit" is intended to clean the surface, not generate a usable slurry.
I've used it to clean my Shapton Pro 2k, but a real nagura, soft Tomo Nagura (both Japanese naturals) or 1200-2000 grit sandpaper on plate glass does just as well.
I like mine for exactly what it was intended for, otherwise it has limited usefulness.
Cheers, Steve

I was advised to use the Nagura that come with the Chosera 1k for slurry.
I found it quite effective, only you have to soak it in water for a few mins before use (its a thirsty stone).
Now I just use the 1k without the Nagura but it does work. Maybe start with the nagura slurry then finish just with water?
