Trans Arks rock. If you enjoy honing and want a smooth yet sharp finish and want an affordable hone, these are great, at least the one I use. Very underated in my opinion.

I grabbed it to continue lapping after i got home from work and.. well the pic says it all...
I have already half grinded the end squere and the larger one is now palm size... Damn im pissed off This is now the seccond stone i have smashed!
Below is the first stone i dropped..
So much more work to do now to get this think looking hlaf ok...

Thanked: 154Brighty83: Wow, that's a real bummer! Perhaps you can epoxy the Arkansas stone back together? Is it an inch thick? There looks to be plenty of surface area for a good bond.

Well, finally lapped and fixed the all the edges after the break.
Its a nice palm sized surgical black, measuring 5.25" x 2" x 1" and the smaller stone 2" x 2" x 1"
Any ideas on what i can use a 2" x 2" x 1" SB Arkansas for? lol
