Better check that again, that sounds like it might have been a Peecasso. Quite rare!!

Okay I have to fess up so I can sleep tonight. I had a couple of friends over for a meet and greet SRP style. These hone were in a garage(mine) but not for sale, trade, and I do not know the location of the vault they are stored in so they are safe :<0). I still find it hard to believe the I saw more Eschers sitting on a table in my garage than I thought I would ever see in a lifetime. The one pictured is of course the grand daddy of all prizes for you guys that have HAD. It was just 1 of maybe 30 (? I lost count) or so of these fine hones I had the pleasure of handling. I am surprised nobody recognized the little guy with it's distinct green carry bag. Maybe it was the fact that many of these prized stones no longer have the bag with them ? I also wonder how many still have the slurry stone that came in the original package. This is not only a NOS hone it was in a case of NOS hones and there were 2 cases ! Here is a couple more pictures that will say more about this little guy.

And I was all proud of my NOS DD hone

I must say if any of you have a chance to meet up with other members DO IT ! We had a lot of fun and I wanted to share some of that with the rest of you . Hence my garage sale idea was born. Besides the fun I think all 3 of us learned from each other and sharing experiences face to face is a lot different than posting and reading. No detail is missed when you watch someone do something in person.

I am sorry if anybody was hospitalized with a heart condition over this post. And the names of the innocent will remain confidential as I take full responsibility (although none of this is to be used in a court of law) for this ( I hope) funny thread. :<0)

Oh I did get a hone that day. My new Naniwa ss 12k had arrived. We christened it at the meet.

I did recognize the Frictionite in the green bag..........and not to mention that the first pic of it, the paper wrapper around the rub-stone clearly reads Frictionite.....

Also knew from the start that there was something fishy about this thread......

It's all confusing when people go around doing that. It discombobulates me.
