I was at a garage sale and saw these. I thought the seller was asking a little bit too much at 30.oo so I passed it up. What do you think ?

They look new but still...............I never spent more than 5 or 10 bucks at a garage sale.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Genreally, forum members are discouraged from making valuations on stones and razors. However, from the look of the box and stone, it seems to me to be a Escher. By looks of it blue or blue green.

Here is a link to a similar stone in similar condition selling on ebay.

Go back now and pick them up

Really, I don't know much about hones but those prices seem much cheaper than what I have seen online lately. What brand is the second hone.

I think 10pups is a wind up merchant. Not sure if that converts into American English so I'll say it in a different way - there's no way he would have not bought two Eschers - he's just getting a reaction - the lucky man.

Amazing. Do any of these people know what google is?
One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

Over the summer I paid $2.00 for a tackle box at a garage sale.
I threw the box and junk tackle out, and kept the thuringian and Swaty that were in the bottom.
I think most garage sale sellers have no idea what they have.

I would have been even more ecstatic to have found a pair of Eschers.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
