    Length to width ratio is not right for a 118S, but I do agree that it looks Carborundum-ish and the streaks on the side in the photo are unclear if they are oil streaks or natural to the hone.

    Why didnt you post the third picture ? As there is a corner missing, which in general does not tend to break out like this on a "natural" Stone i would tend to a menmade stone....that my last thinking on this one....

    Sorry I didn't get that third pic posted. Thanks for all the help guys. I'm pretty sure this stone isn't one that I'd need or ever really use.

    Maybe so Ron, but we are dealing with poor quality photos that are obviously not to scale.

    Those were shots from eBay guys. I would have given you better if I could. I had a little interest in the stone and needed some input.

    I have not seen the third picture, but yes, chipped corners are very informative!
