Slurry on my pre finish side, and clear water to dry on the finish side, couple hundred laps,, just like any of the hard rocks like Arks And Thuringians Tc

Bringing up an older thread, I know. Necroposting. Ha.
I contacted Peter and just got my order in today. 2 Thuringian Bouts with rubbers. The rubbers are small so that we could keep the post under the weight limit. One is YellowGreen (2.25 x 6.5), the other is Green (3.25 x 4.75). Measurements are in inches and at the widest point and the colors dont look right on my monitor. I'm hoping this will make my H.A.D. stay calm for a while. With these and the recent Jnats, I think I in good shape. Unless I can talk Rez out of one of his stones. LOL. Pics are dry and wet...
Peter was good to work with. I told him what I was looking for in size and he explained the differences in colors. It took a little time for him to dig these up but I wasn't in a big hurry anyway. There are some marks in the stones but you can't feel them and Peter assured me they were not toxic and wouldn't cause an issue while honing razors. They both feel very smooth to the touch and I plan on trying them out a little tonight. Now with the Dark Blue that I have, I think I'm set for Thuri's.It's just Sharpening, right?

I know the bouts I have got from Hatzicho (Peter) have rivaled my Hohenzollern stone. He is also a pleasure to deal with and I don’t know anyone more knowledgeable about thuringian stones.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

Peter is a pleasure to work with and his knowledge on Thuri's is second to none.
I love the stone I got from him!

You know I have considered going to him for a nice thuri before; he is obviously one of the experts on that stone.
There are many roads to sharp.
