    Hard to explain, a sensation of very slight texture on the surface and a sort of a soft feel, it's been compared to a velvety feel, a bit like a Coticule if you know what that is like.

    A very soft feeling describes it very good...also touching a thuringian is like touching silk you could not feel any grain size its quite comparable to move your finger over glas when water is on the surface...

    what you have is a Gecko C12K, more commonly known as a Gecko PHIG. The stone gets it's name for the ability to change the color of it's slurry.     That's because the PHIG Family is a large one, China is a big place & lots of exotic PHIG'S to be had.
