Default Estate Find, Help with ID Please

I found this at an estate sale for $5 and figured why not, it was jet black and very hard but after a few minutes lapping it revealed a milky white color, not sure if the dark spots are more dirt or the actual stone

    Any ideas

Petrified Butter stick with holder circa 1790. Sorry. Not helpful, but I couldn't resist.

Certainly looks like a Washita-grade Arkansas

Looks like not a razor grade stone.

I'm going to spend some time with it tonight, it does feel extremely hard but I'm also not familiar with Arkansas stones

From what I have seen online and what I think is one type of Arkansas in my collection, they can be very hard, and have a homogeneous (there are no swirls, speckles, veins, or striations in them) appearance.

    *edit - wine tasting tonight...
