Thread: Charnley Forest hone?

I got this hone at the last week (or should I say rock, as its a big lump)
Im guessing its a Charnley Forest I have looked at ALL the threads on the stones here and in the wiki already

It was an arse to lap (it was not dished much, but still needed lapping) I seem to have lost most of my weekend on it lol. Im hoping to get some razors onto it next week

Its a lovely looking stone and im happy to have it.
It did come in a wooden base, it was in poor condition but kept the stone safe for years so cant complain too much.
