    Default A Good Ol' Nakayama

Had a request to put up a couple of pics of my Nakayama, so here they be. I've had it for about six months, and all I know about it, besides it's one heck of a razor finisher, is that it was purchased in an OLD hardware store in Kyoto from the proprietor who'd been working at the store since before WWII and said it had been there longer than he had. No markings whatsoever.

I purchased the stone from Takeshi at A-Frames Tokyo. It is without question the finest finisher I've ever owned. Any info anyone can add is gratefully accepted. Shot glass for scale

They're visible in South FL. Nice stone, I can't tell you anything about it but I think I recognize the shot glass ......
