Mine was 28,500 Yen posted to Oz, May last year .
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Be glad you did it Onimaru55, Japan recently had a significant tax increase on the order of 10% I think.

I had ordered an Atoma 400 grit replacement "foil" intending to stick it on the back of my 600 grit plate for a two-fer, and Stuart at TFJ couldn't source it. Like the true gentleman he is, he gave me a full Monty Atoma 400 for the same price and include expedited shipping to make up for the delay.

You simply cannot ask for better service.

    Cheers, Steve

You know, I feel kind of bad about it, there was nothing he could do. But he did the right thing to ensure repeat business by dedicated customers. And I will be!

    Cheers, Steve

I paid $266 with shipping from Tools from Japan a couple of weeks ago, and received excellent service.

I think the shipping with EMS is included in the price for those high end stones. And, I agree, Stuart from TFJ is the best.

Got mine from Stu also, he's awesome. Very forthcoming with info and was even happy to help me research some Suehiro stones I picked up on eBay.
