Thanked: 284Eddy- if I recall it seems like that's about the the only place to get it.
But people have had nothing but good things to say about that seller so I wouldn't worry about it.I love living in the past...

The price is significantly higher from this seller than from TFJ, I don't know what the actual price difference would be for a buyer in the states when you factor in international shipping costs and customs fees but I very much doubt that it would be a better deal than buying from TFJ

I paid less than $260.00 from TFJ when I ordered mine. That was with EMS insured.

I think mine was $270 from TFJ a couple years ago. Shoeido is higher on many things, though I've gotten a good deal on the Japanese version Masahiros from them. They reply fast and ship quickly based on my limited experience. But you can't beat Stuart at Tools From Japan.
Cheers, Steve

You are right Steve. Shoeido is high on several items while remaining very competive on the Naniwa line and the Masahiro's among others.

Thanks guys for all the replies and Bob for the other site. Looks like TFJ it will be as it it WAY cheaper there and the postage is quite cheap too. Seems strange to have such limited vendors for a product these days especially with shopping online. Oh well time to order that stone. Cheers
