Thuringian or not , doesnt matter ,if it is a fine finisher and do the job perfect. The name or origin of the stone dos not make the perfect edge . I think it is score and that is one good 12 k natural . A frend of mine buy a similsr size gray 10 k and up stone , very soft , it is a English kind of mud stone , for knives and rasors . Soft but very fine and fast . If it does the job done it is a score .

It is impossible to say - even with the new pics with slurry. Slurry is typical for thuris - so this could be another indication, but of course no proov. Do you have another thuri to compare?

Whatever it is - have fun with the usage and keep us informed how it performs!
