Thanked: 104Should have your GOK 20 by mid week
Ed, check your tracker, as I mentioned in another post that the Suehiro order had arrived at the retailer, My checker shows the stone having left Japan and is in Sydney today. Taking into account, it being Sunday and tomorrow a public holiday Monday (In NSW). I believe this week is a certainty.
Cheers Bob

Have received the email with tracking information. Just waiting on the other 2 orders. Part of the reason is the price increase in Japan and the rush of orders he has had before the price increases. He did say that he will refund at least part of the postage as the orders are over 2 weeks before even being processed so that is good of him

Got it. Lapped it and run a couple of razors over it. Had a look at the scratch marks with the loupe and it makes the 12k look rough. Can't wait to shave.

As I said. Lapped it which wasn't too bad but much harder than my naniwas. Did 3 razors but haven't had the opportunity to use yet. Looking through a 40x loupe it was almost like it took away all the 12k scratch pattern and just left a polished edge behind. Sure with better optics you would be able to tell more. Still waiting for the second order to ship so he must be flat out. Have you got yours yet
