This one arrived this morning (with slurry stone), put an initial coat of artists varnish / sealer on the label. Box was missing the lid, and the label on the side of the stone is gone (can tell it was there though),but appears to be the same type of stone as the one you posted. I'm torn over whether it's light green or yellow green. What do you think?
Well they are all gray except the dark blue, The y/g has a sort of yellowish hue which is hard to describe. IME it is lighter in color than the Light Green, and the light green is slightly lighter in color than the blue/green. Some guy had an Escher on the bay not long ago with an end label marked Grun (green). First I'd seen and I wanted it, but not for the $ he was asking. Those days are gone for me.

Anyway, lap it, take a pic in natural light to get a better perspective. They generally have years of dirt, patina on them so you can't see what the true color is until it is lapped. A blue/green or a light green are great hones so you can't go wrong. Might be a y/g as well.

    Geezer and Phrank like this.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
