Default HAD - What's your prized hone?

In light of a thread that has been a lot of fun and a quick sensation, I want to pose two questions.

1.) what is your most expensive stone/plate? (Price showing optional, but would be fun)

2.) what is your most prized stone/plate? You know the one you would ransom your wife and kids for? JK...

    Hmmmmm, difficult question.

My most prized is probably a tie between my Nakayama Kiita, and standard grade La Veinnette ...

But, my Thuringian bout takes high honors also ..

I've gone and started the thread but didn't post my stones.

1.) my shapton glass 16k is my most expensive ringing in at $130. I've pretty much have only started in my addiction

2.) my most prized was a toss between my shapton 16k and chosera 1k but I think Im going to say it's the 1k. It feels smooth as glass. Even as smooth as my sweet 16 but it cuts so quick. Feels like butter. I love it.

Most expensive either my Zulu Grey or HGH. Forget which one cost the most.

My go to stone, which cost $5 is my 12k Droescher.

I had a Shapton GS 30K that I kept for years until I decided that it wasn't the greatest for razors and still have a nakayama asagi that I gave a mint for.

I have three that I am passionate about: Charnley Forest, Escher, & Suehiro Gokumyo 20K

My most expensive Nakayama Karasu size #30, my favorite a toss up between this stone and an Ozuku Asagi that I just got from Jeremy.
Three synths that I wouldn't want to be without, the new Naniwa Professional P310,1K and the P330,3K. Suehiro Gokumyo 20K.

Not going to put up a pic of the 20K, it just doesn't have the soul that a old natural stone has...

Threw in pics of your carries just for good measure just to make sure no one comes after your stash of hones huh?

I only have a modest collection of hones (and razors, for that matter) but my most prized stone is my 2" x 6" hard black Arkansas stone from Dan's Whetstone Company.

    Rock on!

My most prized hone, just happens to be my most expensive hone also; this would be my ShangDi natural stone. Carbon dated back to around 1600 BC. It was discovered in a bamboo crate along with 3 others, in the prayer room of a Shaolin Temple, high in the Zhengzhou Mountains, during the Shang Dynasty,,, this is where it gets it's name.
    Valued at over 17.5 Yuan

,,,and no, it's not for sale,,,
