I've yet to find a better finisher than I already have (Nakayama Asagi) & it's getting costly to try. As for lower grits last stone I bought was for knives not razors.

Yes, but I play with mine, I don't just look at them.

To the OP, i think its very cool that you found a system that works for you, and obviously your happy with the results. I see many new guys on here always chasing the new stone that will give them the ultimate edge when all they have to do is spend time learning the ones they already have.

What you say is spot on Martin, but with a lot of guys, speaking from my own experience relative to ADs, it is the action as much, or more, than the item.

Which is why some of us go from razors, to stones, to brushes, to strops, to ....... ad infinitum.
