The Naniwa SuperStone 1k (not 1000k) is a bit soft and is not a workhorse bevel setter. A good option for something more coarse is either a Naniwa Chosera (now Professional) 600 or 800. They are more aggressive but both of their scratch marks are easily removed by the SuperStone 1k.
