Default A Charnley? Or something else?

I've been wondering about this hone for a while. I've had it for several years I think, and I use it as a final finisher. It's fine, slow and puts a nice edge on my razors, but I'm unsure about its identity.

I think it may be a Charnley Forest hone, because it resembles them in a lot of ways, but the dimensions and colour make me wonder if it is something else. It's bluer than my other Charnleys.

    The dimensions are about 22cm X 4.25cm X 2.2cm. That's about 8.5" x 1.75" x 15/16".

There are saw marks on the side as well. The surface doesn't look as dense as some of my Charnleys, but it still puts a fine edge on a blade.

What do you guys think? Charnley? Can't say? Or something else?

The last pic shows it next to a confirmed Charnley.

Well, it looks more like a Charnley than anything else that I can think of to call it, so you've got one vote for Charnley.

I thought I may as well include my other 'Charnleys' here and get their ID confirmed at one go.

The little one on the left is just plain amazing! Silent killer edges off it every time. It is only good for a final polish, though. It doesn't take off any steel.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the confirmation of the stone ID.

It's interesting to see all the various hues and textures that these stones have. Of course, they also work differently, though I wonder how much that has to do with how well they're smoothed out.

Anyway, 4 Charnleys for me. I think that's enough (though those large ones Modine showed here are cool too).

    Sebastian:
The first at the right looks like my one : https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/453710/
It's a Llyn Idwal stone. Sometimes they work similiar to CF and feel similiar, nonetheless they are little bit different.
Sometimes ago I brought my example to my friend who is a geologist and he said that it was a Llyn Idwal.
Actually I couldn't believe in that for a long time, but now I can feel the difference.

Yeah thanks....a long time until the last year i also thought its not an Llyn Idwall....but i was convinced it is one....

I begin to love those stones....they work quite well and fast with a slurry created....a bit comparable to the Bavarian Frankonian Stone

You can feel the difference in creating a slurry and honing with slurry on the stone....also the stones are less fine then CF....

Here is a comparison i did for the Idwalls:

    actually, different CFs work different..
So this one https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/436591/ works fast but little bit rough.
Classic variations like https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/446739/ and https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/436590/ harder and finer than one above.
This one https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/436589/ extreamly hard and slow (close to guanxi==C12K).

    1. - first probe of CF (this one https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/446739/)
Fresh surface (first probe after lapping on F1200 silicon powder)
    --- looks similiar to LI
    2. - after some work on the stone
    3. - another stone - a bit harder and finer (https://fotki.yandex.ru/users/beavers-net/album/454731/)
