    Lee Valley has a good selection of ark's now. As well as nortons etc. fast shipping or store pick up.

    I know your not likely to go there , but I rode over to Dans this past fall, I would recommend because they take a lot of pride in their stones and the history and stories with Dan and his son were worth the trip and I wound up with some nice rocks,, as for black over trans, there are better authorities out there than me , but Dan said the blacks in his quarry, tc

    Dan's claims that their Black and Trans are equally dense and are the same grit rating. I'd buy either.

    If you look at the ad at Lee Valley they show a picture of a Dan's box, that would lead me to believe Lee Valley is selling Dan's hones.

    Yeah , im a sucker for a good ultra fine Ark or a Charly forest . Seriously thinking abbout it .
