Thanked: 55Thuringian 1x5 tool grade?
Does the stone furthest from the box look like a razor thuringian or like a thuringian at all?

Thuringian 1x5 tool grade?
Looks like a Schwedenstein, they also appeared in these boxes or on small paddle strops and boxes...i will add some pics later
Is there a visible pattern? Or is yours tending towards black, in one plain color? Its hard to see on the pictures ;-)Last edited by doorsch; 09-03-2015 at 03:50 PM.

Thanked: 3215Because of the size, probably not tool stones, more likely razor or penknife stones.
Better photos, close up of the ends, side and lable.
Nice find, lap and put a razor to them.
