I'll have it in few days or and will surely have an opinion once I get it and clean it up etx., but I'm curious what you all think. I bought this with the hopes
it was but just not sure..

Could be. Some people used them with oil. If it is a coticule it is a glued coticule. Alternatively, if not a coticule, it is a synthetic I'd guess.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 32Looks like a B-Hone to me. The only thing I ever remember seeing stamped on the side of cotis like that is "Made in Belgium".
But, you never know. My fingers are crossed for you!

Thanked: 16Something just was telling me it wasnt and part of it was the stamp on the side. If
It said selected or extra fine or something I wouldn't have a doubt.. But with the company name I think not. I just don't know what it could be that looks like that..

Thanked: 3795I don't think it's a coticule or a Frictionite. It does appear to be a synthetic but I do not recognize the stamping. The only word I can work out on the lighter side is "ponder" though the "p" is the most questionable. Can anyone else make out any more of the stamping?
Actually, it MAY be one of the re-branded Frictionites. Just as hardware stores sold re-branded straight razors, there were some Frictionites that were stamped with a vendor's name on the side.
