Stone to start to wash, and then put in order, then we will see what kind of stone. It is difficult to understand from a photograph.

There had been several "Wonder Hones" in the past. Mainly artificial hones like this one here:
ADORATION WONDER HONE test
Also there had been a wonder hone - which was actually a strop - produced by the Shaw manufacturing company in Detroit. Maybe they also made real hones!?
Anyway - I don't think it is a coticule...

Thanked: 16Here are some pics. I got it in the mail finally and cleaned it up
A bit. Definately not a coticule and I do not own a OO friction its to see if this is the same however it is pretty fine stone. Any idea of what it could be?

This is a vintage razor honing stone TRADE mark "Wonder Hone" made by the Shaw Manufacturing Company of Detroit, Michigan,
USA. The motto embossed on this vintage stone was "Cures Dull Razors", it is now barely visable in the lower circled stamp.

Definitely Detroit Definitely . No coti under Detroit only salt mines. Sythetic PHIGYour only as good as your last hone job.
