There've been several 'Les Latneuses' on eBay in the past six months or so, do a search on sold items. It's a pretty unique vein, especially when in combination with the hybrid layer:

Thanks so much for this. I wish we could have a thread 'post pictures of the garnets in your coti'. I have to go by feel because I don't have any serious magnification, but if I wanted to see the garnets, what would you suggest I get?

    Cheers

    Nice photos.
I just have a couple of questions...

How old are you and have you purchased a burial plot yet?

Though I know it is wise never to give advice unless asked .......... take it easy. No need to be in a hurry. There are always a superfluity of stones on this or that market.

Channel your enthusiasm into using the stone/stones you already have before you load up on stones based on other people's experiences. Not that they don't have merit, but you can end up with a drawer full that you don't use.

Don't ask me how I know.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If you are looking for a hone from a specific vein I would give Ardennes Coticule a ring or send them a mail.
