Thanked: 0Flea Market find
Bought this hone at a flew market today and finally cut through all of the oil on it (still needs some work) does anyone have an idea what it is and maybe grit?

Thanked: 32I know some guys that use them for low-midrange razor work. You could always give it a shot and see how you like it.
Even though I don't use them for razors I love washitas. You'll be hard pressed to find a single stone that's better for knives and tools.

I just released a video of myself using a washita as a bevel setter and then on to mid range. What other stones do you have?
