    Yeah that is why I would prefer a Lorraine as backing as I already wrote. The Lorraine is much faster than the BBW and gives an edge that is already shave-ready, while not beeing to comfortable. But the combination together wth a thuri is fantastic. Using a coticule is of course possible, but depends on the vein and quality of the coti. Using a good vein would also give a very "expensive" combination.

    Of course vintage material, there is no chance to reactivate one of the old mines or install a new quarry at the moment.
