Does it matter which vein one gets one from or if it comes "unmarked" like a lot of them I see?

Of course it doesn't matter. It only matters to people who care. They aren't any better or worse then unmarked ones as a rule. An unmarked hone can be light-years ahead of a marked vein, and vice versa. It's about the individual hone itself. 2 hones from the same vein can have massive variance even if the 2 were mined within feet of each other.

I think you can do better with a bout, but the real estate on the former is consistent across, and you may enjoy the longer laps without having to adjust for the width you're already used to.

I remember my first coti, I had to decide between 150 x 50 or 150 x 40. The 150 x 50 won because I thought to myself "more real estate better rock julio hone razor now" (*caveman voice*). Wish I went for the 40 size now.
I'll trade you. I've got a 150x40 box and slurry stone.

When I cursor over The Superior Shave in a post, why does it say "Superior Liar"?

I like "Dr. Matt's videos on using Coti's! I have used his ideas on finish honeing on a Coti under running water . Watch all his Coti videos plus all the other one's out there on razor honing. Lot's of good info on here & U-tube.

What size coti would you suggest? 150x50?

Has anyone bought a coti from the superior shave before?
