Thanks mike, I like the Chosera 1k very much. It took me ages to get off my butt and pull the trigger but it's awesome. The 600 came to mind as a faster alternative.

I have two questions,

Is the stone still a smooth cutter? Any micro-chipping issues?
Do you ever use slurry(gasp) on it?
