Then it's not a hone. It's something else like an insulated subfloor tile.

A natural coticule is non-reactive to acid. A synthetic coticule, made from coticule dust, will bubble in response to an acid like Lime Away, or CLR, or muriatic acid. I have no idea how an insulated subfloor tile will react.

The second photo, with the side view, shows some sort of lamination on the far left side of the darker region. I cannot reconcile that with any sort of stone.

The reason I don't think that it's subflooring or tile is because my dad owned his own business an it was flooring I've layed every type of flooring imaginable an this isn't like any of them.

Utopian I'm not seeing what you're talking about as for as lamination in the corner part of the hone was wet when I took the pics.

I literally got the hone ran a razor across it a few times it seemed to work just fine (it was dry the razor was dull but it did start to take an edge) I went to the bathroom to lap it an as soon as it was soaking wet it got soft an I mean soft it dried an hardened back up. So I immediately presumed that it was man made an the bidet was breaking down.

OK, maybe it's some sort of photographic artifact. Do you at least see the horizontal layers in the photograph?

Rocks don't react to wet/dry like that with few exceptions . Something like bentonite which is clay and absorbs water and swells but it's not a rock. If a rock is badly rotted (weathered) it can do that but not a fresh piece.
