Similar delays happened to me with 2 transactions I had with new orders. The stones I ordered did come in and are as described, so as long as your patient I'm sure you'll get what you ordered. My 3rd transaction surrounding a replacement stone has been pending since April '16 however...
Some folks have had great luck with 'normal' purchase experiences, but for me and others there seem to be habitual delays.
Michael is a very polite & well spoken person, and for those interested there were many emails exchanged and all communication was very clear on issues, expectations & deliverables. I have no plans pursuing the replacement stone at this time.

after 4 months and some change, my rock came in. i got at 50% its price, so i can't complaint. i knew in advance it was going to be just like that. so, i remembered it: nothing really good is really fast. 4 months is noting. it will last a lifetime.
michael is a fine chap. responded all the way. it was a pleasure to do business with him.

Thanked: 66I ordered the Silkvein, took 3-4 months with very little responce from Michael on my inquiries. I would at times wait a week betwen emailing him, and it took a month to get a reply. His customer service is very lacking but you will eventually get your stone. He will usualy give some kick back for the delay, not sure why he doesnt just say 1-4 months delivery in bold print, although his 'fine' print does say it can take awhile, I just didnt read it when ordering and frankly should not have had to.
I always tell people don't get in a hurry, I also have the orignal ZG second hand so did not have to wait, the ZG is a good stone and I enjoy using it at times, the silkvein not so much, I got it as I collect stones and so I am still happy to have the set, so dont get me wrong. I would just not advise the silkvein if your not a collector. One of these days I might figure out the Silkvein, but a I do have tons of natural stones of the same grit I like better.Last edited by sidmind; 06-08-2017 at 01:54 AM.

Thanked: 2That's kinda why I'm thinking of getting a Silkvein. Wish I could find one for sale outside of him. Like others have said, his service is a bit slow and seems to be worse with the Wade and Butcher return added to his plate.
