Thanked: 77Flea markets are a Saturday thing alone, Mondays and Tuesdays are best for the antique Stores ( that's typically when they bring in most of their stock) the rest are for the estate sales. The one common denominator in all of them is to be the earliest one there. I show up at the flea markets while the booths are setting up so I have first Deb's on what they got. And I always show up 10 minutes before opening to an antique store. I always show up way early for a estate sale. It's all about luck but this should increase your odds. Picked up this small anvil yesterday for a few bucks. I feel guilty, I actually convinced the guy that this wasn't
a real anvil. Will wire brush the paint off of the work surfaces.
For size reference, Charlie (the skull) is 5/8" wide.Last edited by Panama60; 09-01-2016 at 05:34 PM.

Nice find! Those look like excellent hones from where I'm sitting! Love to hear it when people get out to the flea markets, antique stores, etc... Sounds like you have a good method for finding stuff and some good stomping grounds! Where are you located?
