Thread: PRC razors, wide 1/4" hollow bevels and a Shapton glass 1k

My PRC razors and Hart razors needed quite a bit of effort to reset the bevels. Once reset, the edges are incredible and seldom need to revisit anything but a slightly posted strop or high grit finisher.

I reset mine on a Norton 1K or a washita. Just bought a chosera so i can't comment on it yet.

Unless you have some serious repair work to do on a bevel but in your case a 1K will be just fine. Just follow Glen's link and follow the sound advise.

That is reassuring, I keep telling myself this is taking way too long. Maybe you could send me a pm when you experience the chosera on your PRC razors and Harts too (which I also have a bunch of lol)?

I honestly don't think that I will ever need to revisit the bevel on these razors but if i happen to purchase any more 01 tool steel blades, i will definitely be using the chosera!

I got that Chosera 1k woooooo!
