Well, My first attempt with Nagura's did turn out well. Got the bevel set. At least I thought so. it looked good to me and felt good with the TNT. Then went to 4K till the scratches were much less. Not as deep or wide. Then started the Nagura progression. Finished with slurry from my finishing stone. Stropped 100 on leather after 50 on Suede to be sure it was dry. Shave test failed.
I'll go back to the Bevel Set tomorrow and start over. I spent about 2.5 hours on this. Trying to learn to flip the blade right so I'm pretty slow. I know I can do this. I'll watch some more vids and go again in the morning. Wish me luck! I Can Do This!!! Proper attitude helps in all things in life! It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 59TNT does not work for me, has to be TPT. I know when my edge has the bevel set as soon as I set the edge ever so lightly on my thumb pad, sticks immediately with no pause or jumping down before it catches. No HHT is needed. I do however check the rest of the bevel for an invisible edge under the flashlight. Then and only then, if I get no edge reflections can I begin playing with my nagura's.
