    Gasman-If you haven't already, check out Keith Johnson's site at tomonagura.com. It is a treasure trove of info. about all aspects of the JNat honing experience. That took a lot of the mystery out of all those confusing stamps, terminology and their meanings in English. I've got a better bead on it now, and have fallen down the JNAT and nagura honing rabbit hole myself. And yeah, my wife too is disturbed by my obsession with all these weird rocks.

    To her credit, though, she did help me correctly id my 4 Mikawa nagura by matching up the stamps on Keith's website!

    I'll check it out. Thanks for the info. Marc is sending me a piece of Tomo that he had bought. Guess it came in a large piece and he could aford to share. Thanks Marc! I'll surely read up on that web site though Scouthikerdad.
