Crap,
I already know I'm getting the 3k pro... so then 3/8k combo is out TC.
Any additions to it now other then 8k?
Add the 5k and do baby steps?

I wouldn't waste that money myself, I can see no real advantage to owning the 3 & 5 Pro unless you are an OCD idiot like me and just want one hehehehe
Yeah maybe the 8k Snow white
I haven't tried the Traditionals myself
Lynn told me I really need to look at them :hmmm:
I use the Naniwa Traditional 1K a lot. It feels like an old water stone but behaves like the rest of my Naniwas. Not as soft as the Selective and not quite as hard feeling as the Professional although close. Very consistent and reliable bevel setter in my experience over the last couple years.
I do have a king 4 (I believe 6) k and 8k I was planning on selling. Maybe hold onto them and work them into a progression?
I was gonna ask what happened to your King stones. I'd at least hang onto those until you had a replacement 8K in hand, if you're gonna switch completely to Naniwas.
I would say use that 8k until you get a replacement. I go 1-3-8 and the jump seems to be fine from there to finishers.
