I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July!, Thank you for the kind words. I really put a lot of time in fitting the stones, that took a lot more thought and time than I would have ever imagined. I am very happy with the results as it came out just like I pictured and that does not always happen. I learned a lot on this one and my next should go a little faster I hope. The only bad part is I have to buy more wood and nice wood is expensive. I like burl wood but that is not cheap. I was inspired by other members display boxes which are so nice and well thoughtout designs, which are practicle but very nicely made and finished. To get me thinking, that would be a cool ideal to store my slurry stones. Better than any store bought product that's for sure. So thank you guys that like to think outside the box and share your thoughts and knowledge. So that is my small contribution hopefully it will inspire someone else to do the same.

Yes, they are N52 rare earth magnets discs 1/4 × 3/16. With about four pounds of pull each. I would recomend 4 on box, as it feels like a strong hold but still being able to openening it safely. If that makes sense, as they are strong little bugers. I can toss the box on the couch and it sounds and looks like it can take more but that is all I am willing to test it on. Lol, I am not sure if I should name the company that sells the magnets just pm me and I will give the name and model number as the have a huge veriety and you can buy one to thousands. To top it off their shipping was like three bucs. Hope this helps!
Thank You,
Israel

I got a sack full of those magnets from Lee Valley in Canadia
Funny that they couldn't ship them air freight, had to be ground.

A little more info for those that are intersted. There are two grades of Neodymium rare earth magnets. Classified as N42 and N52, the ones in lee valley and other places are N42 unless otherwise stated. As N52 are about 20 to 25 percent stronger depending on size. A example is a 3/8 dia.×1/8 thick disc in N42 is 4.41 lbs. and in N52 it is 5.46 lbs. More than a pound stroger for the same size magnet.
They have something like five times the selection as Lee Valley. They offer nickel, black nickel, plastic, ruber, and even gold plated selections. Sizes ranging from 1/16×1/32 discs with 29grams of pull to 4"×3"×2" blocks with 1013 pounds of force. They have axially magnetized and diametrically magnetized magnets, over a thousand different ones to choose from. No set quantity, so you buy what you need and if you would like to try other sizes you can buy one or two of each to try out. One tip is if you order online before 1pm ET they ship sameday, if you order by phone they thip the next day. Their website is kjmagnetics.com.
Hope this helps someone and gives people more options as to what is available to create custom boxes with different looks.
Thank You,
Israel
