ATTN Hone Guru's--Mystery Hone
I just picked this up this afternoon, it's greenish with dark stripes, 7"x1 1/2" x 1/2" and harder than a Thuringian and softer than an Ark and seems very fine.

It's a RiverPhig, very common in the creeks around Minnesota.
Rates around 12K.

After doing some investigating I think it might be a Charnley Forest but I've never actually seen one. What do you guys think?

Well a lot of Charnley hones have red on them, not all of them though. There is also the yellow lake and the other one I can't spell lynidawyl or similar. They are all commonly green and the last two have no red typically. I'm not an expert.

Green river rock with green river algae....maybe there's some Escargot inside?
I hear they're nice with butter and garlic.....

I have never seen a Charnley Forest that green as the one you show. That of course does not prove it is not a CF.

I'll post another pic tomorrow when I can get some natural light. It's grayish when dry and there are some red spots on the sides after I lapped the sides
