Default Barber hone with beaver logo

I have a reddish-brown barber hone with a beaver logo in an oval. It is without a box. Both sides seem to have the same grit level. Sorry, but pics are not available.

WITH lather, it produced a good shaving edge on a razor just starting to pull.

Is anyone familiar with this hone?

    That’s it!!!

I don’t have the box, only the hone.

Do you have any additional info about it?

Could not find much about the hone, only the company.

Canadian Corundum Wheel Co. - History | VintageMachinery.org
It was previously called Hart Emery Wheel. Their 1886 catalog has no barber hones.

Gives me the impression that the barber hone was a new product for them.

That company is not in the Federal register of corporations, and the lookup is not free for the Province of Ontario, so I can't say more about it.

Or a moose, a maple leaf or a Canadiens logo - not the Maple Leafs; too painful.

I already discovered that Maggards uses a maple leaf as a logo (not a Toronto maple leaf). So I already got that on a DE and a brush

This razor has your name written on it then:

Thiers-Issard "Le Canadien". Just have a look at it!
