Old empty gallon bleach jugs with cut out at top leaving handle; stones standing on end and a bit of bleach in the water. Free, handle for moving about to change water. Did I mention FREE.

I have this one at home, which I use for its intended purposes. Its internal dimensions are slightly smaller then stated on the Amazon page, but still enough to accommodate the water stones you mentioned. On the plus side - it has an air/watertight lid on it.
