Believe it or not I had a piece of wet/dry on my desk.

I did a quick rub with it dry and it looks white. But that is on black paper....

I have been thinking about wood boxs and sealing labels.

I have this one and a labeled Lilly White in a mediocre box that need their own wooden ones.
I dont think it makes a difference. Yeah when I tried it one of mine turned white against black background when dry as well.
Then I picked a BD on eBay and the slurry does indeed look different. More dirty looking with yellow tint.

I am not very good with colors so when I see an Escher by itself I cant say I can pinpoint them.
When you line them up it becomes more obvious.

First pic dry, second wet. From left to right - light green(I presume), BG (has a sticker), Yellowgreen(barbers delight), dark blue(I presume).

By your dry picture mine looks more like your YG but with the wet picture mine looks more like the LG......

We should get together and compare them in person!

It looks like a tad more yellow green than light green but it is hard to tell in photos.

Am I reading to much into this?

Hello friends!!! I have been doing sharpening for about 5 years. I finish on synthetics Naniva SS 10000, or Ozuku Sun 5+. I'd like to try Escher in work, tell me where you can buy such a stone at a normal price, and Ebay hasn’t seen anything new for a long time.
    Thank you with Respect Roman.

You can always post in the BST thread, someone might have one to sell, reasonably.

I was lucky enough to find a Blue/Green B/D, at a flea market. No label, who care's, I know what it is, and only gave $15 for it. I mean....stole it.

thuringianhones.de is another option. It is owned by a member hatzicho (Peter) and he has some excellent quality thuringian bout stones and for a very reasonable price. Peter is very helpful and a great person to do business with. Highly recommended!
