I just realized that I purchased my Thuri's from Peter in Dec of 2016 and it was these stones that I realized you could achieve different edges with other types of stones.
I had a set of choseras and a natural progression of arks(washita, black, translucent). So I knew what sharp crisp edges felt like but not this buttery feeling people in the know had described.
When I first used the Thuri's(purchased three to test out)on three edges I was like damn this is smooth. Some a little better than others but only slightly.
It led me on a fun adventure to some great edges and very nice shaves and opened my mind to find some great stones from all over the globe.
All from some little stones from Peter! That let me see the light! Lol!Name: 20170702_201813.jpg

    Thank you Peter!

I think yours has the Escher cup on the inside label. Or did I confuse that with another one?

Wow. A beautiful pair! The yellow green is a really light color! Nice bigger sizes too!
