    Default PSA, Shapton Glass 1k

Heads up that Fendrihan has the Shapton Glass 1k on special at $37 and change. If you need/want one, that’s a steal. The 2k is my normal bevel setter, but I use the 1k quite a bit rehabilitating pits and wonky eBay bevels.

I paid close to that for a crappy King 1k. Plus, fendrihan offers free shipping on any orders over $35 so there’s that too :-)

While I don't want, need, crave nor desire this Shapton Glass 1k that's on special, for those that do--a link to the site where this offer exists would be nice.

You can also just search ‘Shapton Glass’ on Fendrihan’s main page and it will pull up the page that it’s on.

Fendrihan has ALL the smaller glass stones on sale. Looks like about 40% off on the glass seven stones.

If you want a nice traveling touch up razor hone, you’d be hard pressed to find one better than the 0.85u (about 16k) Glass G7. Note, the 0.44u is not recommended for razors per my conversation with Mark at CKTG’s conversation with Ishida San at Shapton. The ‘7’ stands for 7mm, so the abrasive is thicker than the regular bench size line (5mm).

Man, it's frustrating when the .com and .ca sites don't get on the same page with a sale. Ah well. Saved me buying another hone I don't *really* need.

    Thanks for the heads-up though.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
