Yea, Jende, Ken Schwartz makes good stuff, I have used his CBN and Diamond pastes and sprays for years. It is all top-notch stuff. I think I pretty much have his whole line of Diamond and CBN, .50um and up.

I have also recently tested lower priced Diamond powders and paste available on eBay for exceptionally low cost, especially in the lower grits that work very well. Diamonds have really come down in price and are much more available from various sources.

But for high grits .50um and higher, I would buy from Ken. For most folks, a bottle is a lifetime supply.

I think Ken’s market is really the EDC knife folks that are really after a mirror finish bevel and bragging rights about keen useless edges.

Start with some .50um CBN or Diamond and experiment. The worst that could happen is the edge micro chips and you go back to your finisher, joint the edge, and reset it and strop 5-10 laps and shave. .50 or .25 will keep you shaving a long lime.
