    So according to the description card the large stone is a Washita and the small white one is clearly a little translucent. Although there are some inclusions in the Washita it still looks promising.

    The slot, I believe, is a hook or point sharpener.
    I bought the same buck set back in the early 70s. Unfortunately long gone.
    This guide was bought at the same time.
