I think those new ones would be a very useful addition to the natural hone toolbox. Especially if they can be made available in large enough numbers to satisfy demand.

Many thanks to you guys for your research and efforts to make these stones available again.

@ Sebastian: my La Lune is a dual hone, do you know what hone the honey-coloured side is?
There will be some of the old selected sizes available, also a well known and loved Barber Size format in 5x2inch. There will be a possibility to get custom sizes i think.

@kees: FGBC also sold Coticules under their Trademark, so probably youre Stone is a Coticule. Feel free to post here or sent me a picture of that stone...

    Hey Sebastian,

Just to say that the beloved barber's format of old in the States was 5 x 2 inches, or a 2.5 to 1 ratio. ~125mm x ~50mm in metric terms.

What kind of timeframe are you working to, as far as release date and such? Great project.

Sorry for the delay...we actually need a bit of more research. Besides that there is more to do on Labels/Artwork which will be really awesome. Without referring to an exact date, we estimate around 5-6 months since January

    Hello Sirs

A few months ago I announced our team project on the famous French stone "La LUNE".

Today the project is finished, finalized !

I'm at your disposal if some people here or there want to discuss about it around a good glass of wine ^^!

The mineral source is the same as used at the time, when we work on a stone as unique each detail counts! That's why the stone is provided with a guarantee voucher as at the time of FGBC.

With pleasure to make the stone "The Moon"! Have a nice day.
